  • Extended Hours: The library will be open from 8:00 AM to Midnight, Monday to Friday and 9:00 AM to Midnight, Saturday and Sunday until April 24. The library will be open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM (midnight) and there will be no circulation service on Friday April 22. For more details, please see our library hours page.

  • When the State Trembled shortlisted for Dafoe prize:Reinhold Kramer and Tom Mitchell's take on the 1919 Winnipeg General Strike, When the State Trembled, is one of five titles on the shortlist, the Dafoe Prize committee announced this week.

  • Globe and Mail/Canada's Heritage (click on the Globe and Mail link on the next page): this is the online digitized full-image version of the complete works of The Globe and Mail newspaper since its inception as The Globe in 1844.

  • Medieval Family Life: contains full colour images of the original medieval manuscripts that comprise family letter collections along with full text searchable transcripts from the printed editions. Along with the letter collections themselves there are many additional features including a chronology, a visual sources gallery, an interactive map, a glossary, family trees and links to other scholarly free to access digital resources useful for researching the medieval period.

  • London Low Life: is a full-text searchable resource, containing colour digital images of rare books, ephemera, maps and other materials relating to 18th, 19th and early 20th century London. It contains a wealth of secondary resources, including a chronology, interactive maps, essays, online galleries and links to other useful websites.
