Frequently Asked Questions about PrintingCan I print from the catalog computers in the library?Why do I get a blank page when I print from Ebsco? Can I print from the catalog computers in the library?Yes, if you are a student. Anything printed from the catalog computers will be sent to the student queue. It will listed on the student queue as coming from the catalog computer you are using. The number of that catalog computer (i.e. PA2) can be found at the top of the monitor. When you claim the job on the student queue, you will need your User ID and printing password. If you don't know these, please see the computer help desk in the library.Why do I get a blank page when I print from Ebsco?Ebsco web pages are composed of "frames", and if you use the print button at the top of your browser you may not print the right frame. To solve this, either use the "Print Frame" command under the "File" menu or click on the print links in Ebsco to get to a "printer-friendly" version of the article. If you're still getting blank pages out of the printer, see the computer help desk. |
