In the results screen for American History & Life, Historical Abstracts, Web of Science, CPIQ and our OCLC databases (Medline among others) you will see a button that says "Get It". Clicking on this link will check to see if Brandon University has electronic access to this article. When you click on the link, a new browser window will open. The page will look like a Brandon University web page, but the page actually comes from the COPPUL server at Simon Fraser University and is sometimes slow to load. The bibliographic information (title, author, journal title, volume, issue, etc.) will appear in a box. If Brandon University has electronic access to the full text, then a link or links will appear below the box. Sometimes the link will take you directly to the article. Sometimes the link will take you to all the articles in that issue of the journal (Table of Contents). (Some electronic text sources offer more than option, which you can see by clicking on the "(show options)" link at the end of the link. If the message says "No full-text is available at your library", then Brandon University does not have electronic access to it. We may have the issue in print - please check our catalog or our journal list. Below the possible electronic links are links to the Interlibrary Loan page and to the help page which you're reading. |
