"something special"

Copyright Etc.

Rather than clog up the bottom of all the library web pages with copyright notices, credits and the like, we're including all that stuff on this separate page. It's just our way of being thoughtful.

All web pages copyright by Brandon University. Any unauthorized use of the contents of these pages will cause us to think really, really bad thoughts about you.

The web site was last updated August 2002 (and, yes, it's overdue to be updated again), although pages are updated constantly. If we were really conscientious, we'd put the date each page was updated at the bottom of each page, but, alas, you'll just have to settle for this blanket statement.

The John E. Robbins Library web site was originally created by Carmen Kazakoff-Lane in 1997. This is it's third version. We're nothing if not persistent. Chris Hurst and H. Rainer Schira are currently maintaining the web site. The library web site committee is currently Heather Coulter,  Chris Hurst, Carmen Kazakoff-Lane and H. Rainer Schira. We'll take suggestions about the web site from anyone. Send them to Chris Hurst. If you send a suggestion, please be sure to mention that it's a suggestion for the web site in the subject line. Like everyone, Chris gets a lot of spam and gets quite cranky about it. He deletes messages with strange addresses/subject lines without reading them and will not open an attachment from a stranger. If you have to fool a spam filter, we're not interested. We don't process credit cards. We have quite enough computer equipment and wireless access. Our mortgage rates are just fine. Smaller is better, don't you think? We don't care that it was seen on Oprah. No sex please, we're librarians. We're not interested in helping you get money out of your country. Who buys watches without seeing them first? We don't want to see any more cable channels. If we want drugs from Canadian pharmacies, we don't need your help. If we want some more education, we'll take a class at this non-virtual university.
