For more than a century now, tens of thousands of people have relied on the Alexander Technique to:

Well-known to actors, musicians and athletes, the Alexander Technique has become part of the curriculum in many universities and conservatories around the world.

The human body is a remarkable instrument, capable of great flexibility and adaptability. As life goes on, however, we unwittingly acquire bad habits that limit our mobility, bring on various ailments and prevent us from putting our capacities to optimal use.

The first noticeable effect is a decrease in perception: we become inattentive to our movements, disconnected from our inner feelings oblivious to our environment.

By helping to restore our sensitivity and natural balance, the Alexander Technique addresses these issues directly.

A typical individual lesson in the Alexander Technique lasts thirty to forty minutes. Through simple movements like sitting or walking, the teacher guides the student with vocal and tactile directions designed to promote a mental and physical reorganization.
