| Introduction to
the Fine Art Collection The Brandon University
Fine Art Collection has grown steadily over this century through the generosity of private
and corporate donors. The BU Art Collection contains works by recognized historical and
contemporary Canadian and International artists, with strong Native representation, along
with works by former students and faculty from the Fine Arts Program.

The Visual Art classrooms and
Instructor's offices are now located on the Heritage Floor below the John E. Robbins
Library

| In the spring of 1998, a significant
part of the collection was displayed during the Brandon University Foundation Gala Dinner.
Works by artists dating back to Rembrandt's time were exhibited generating many supportive
comments from the community. Through the generosity of
donors The Brandon University Fine Art Collection will continue to flourish. |
