Government Documents WeekingList of government documents to be discarded from the Library CollectionPlease have a look at the following government documents to see if any of them should be kept in the library collection. If you want a particular item to remain in the collection please contact Chris Hurst by email Hurst@brandonu.ca or phone 727-9688 by March 30 2012. If there are no objections these government documents will be removed permanently from the library. Items which will be considered for weeding are the following:
Criteria to be considered when evaluating items for removal are:
Weeding will be done on an ongoing basis. The library staff will select items for weeding. All items selected for weeding will be posted on the website for one month. Faculty will be notified by email and have an opportunity to present reasons why an item should not be weeded. Final authority to weed will rest with the University Librarian.
