Confused? Need help with your research? That's what we're here for...
If you're on campus, your first stop should be the Reference
Desk on the main floor of the library. The desk is staffed Monday - Friday
from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (with reduced hours in the summer), and we'll help you
with any questions you have about your research or about the library.
We've prepared a number of web based tutorials to guide you:

Another way to get started is by consulting our Library Guides by
Subject to see if we have any guides that could help you.
If you're looking for books in the library, you should search our
Library Catalog Books aren't
the only thing the library has - you can find videos, compact discs, and other material through the
catalog.
If you're looking for journal articles, you could look at our
Subject Databases for an appropriate
database. Or, if you're only interested in articles you can get right away, you could look at
our Full-Text Databases.
If you're in a hurry, there's our
quick guide to searching.
If you want some help with creating the bibliography for your paper, there's our
citation library guide.
You could look at the library
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page.
If you need online reference books, there are links on our
here.
These are links to more information about our Lending Policies or
Hours of Operation.
As a general rule, the library offers library
instruction courses when asked to do so by a professor, and directs the instruction to the
subjects covered in the course.
