Program Success

BUHEP is a successful program currently serving over 25 communities; it has a high rate of successful student completion. Approximately 25 graduates are serving as teachers and principals in public and in private schools. Some have enrolled in graduate programs.

Program Financing

All program costs are borne by the sponsors, with no other sources of funding. Sponsors pay a fixed annual fee for each student, which covers all tuition fees, books, and supplies. The BUHEP Advisory Committee sets fees.

Program Governance

As a program of the Faculty of Education, BUHEP is governed by the regulations of Brandon University. The BUHEP Advisory Committee, overseeing the Program, includes representatives from the Hutterian Brethren Education Committee, the Department of Education, Manitoba School Superintendents, the BUHEP Student Body, the Faculty of Education, and BUHEP staff.
