Welcome to the Faculty of Education for the 2009/10 Academic Year! "To teach is to learn." —Anonymous (Japanese proverb)

Mission Statement |
||||
The Faculty of Education of Brandon University prepares educators for service in Manitoba schools, placing special emphasis on education for rural, aboriginal and northern communities and, where feasible, for similar communities nationally and internationally. The Faculty believes that independent inquiry, and interdependence of inquiry and action are essential for improvement in education and society. The Faculty also believes that such improvements can best be accomplished by our working in partnership with stakeholders on the development, delivery and assessment of effective programmes of teacher education. |
